Football pitches

When it comes to astroturf football pitches, there are different types of pitches that are being played on these days. Hybrid and synthetic pitches. A hybrid sports pitch combines both natural grass and synthetic fibres of fake grass to produce a surface that can be used for a wide variety of sports, including football, rugby, golf and baseball.

A fully synthetic pitch is often referred to as 2G, 3G or 4G which are 100% artificial fibres. Pile heights, which is the length of the grass, can range from 20mm up to 80mm. The astroturf is infilled with sand or rubber granules to replicate the natural bounce and roll of the real thing. These surfaces are great for all sports ranges like golf greens, football pitches, tennis courts, American football pitches and rugby pitches.
