Which artificial grass is best for my garden?

This is the million-dollar question  when choosing the best artificial grass for your garden. There are many different types of fake grass designed with specific uses in mind. For example, we manufacture some grasses to be hard-wearing, which generally means using a plastic fibre made from nylon (polyamide). However, nylon is not quite as soft as polypropylene or polyethylene, the two other types of artificial fibres used in manufacturing synthetic grass.

There are five main types of usage for an artificial lawn:

  1. Family lawns and Play Spaces: With these types of gardens often getting heavy traffic, the artificial lawn will receive high levels of usage all year round.

  2. Pet-friendly lawn: Similar to family lawns but also needs to handle urine and excrement.

  3. Ornamental and show lawn: These gardens normally have a low footfall and are intended to improve a garden’s aesthetics whilst dramatically reducing the need for maintenance.

  4. Lawns for parties and entertaining: Lawns able to cope with spillages and stains.

  5. All-rounder: Some or all of the above.

Naturally, each of the above types requires different strengths and qualities in an artificial grass product.
